The EMITT 2017 Tourism Fair evaluation meeting was held in Giresun Chamber of Commerce and Industry. In the opening speech Mr. Hasan Çakırmelikoglu, the Chairman of Giresun Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said “We have made a serious preparation for the EMITT Tourism Fair this year and we attended.
We got good impressions and experiences. We are here to discuss what we can do for tourism sector in Giresun. We need to prepare long-term actions for developing Giresun tourism. EMITT 2017 was one of these action plans and we have made an important start.” “Giresun was thrilled for EMITT tourism fair. Neighboring provinces are one step ahead of us so we have to take part in this kind of organizations with stands that will be more prominent in the coming years.” said businesswoman Ms.Yeşim Hattat. Mr.Murat Aladağ, the coordinator of Giresun DOKA YDO, said “We, as DOKA, attach importance to tourism in our region. We prepared an action plan in tourism and also we are going to participate in the Middle East fairs in the scope of Giresun-Ordu in 2017. Our aim is to participate at least four international tourism fairs at the international level. The other tourism action plan material is the introduction. At this point, with the Provincial Culture and Tourism Directorate and other stakeholders, we will use introduction materials at domestic and foreign fairs.
