After Giresun Chamber of Commerce and Industry had a business trip to Islamic Republic of Iran in May 2016 the first group of tourists came to our city to celebrate the feast Nauruz.
Approximately 160 people visited Giresun city center, Giresun Castle and Giresun Island. The Iranian tourist group, who admired the air, expressed that they will come back to Giresun as soon as possible.
After the first tourists arrived in Giresun in the context of commercial travel made in 2016, it was decided to increase commercial talks with Iran on tourism.
